The shrine is actually a complex of four main shrines—Honmiya, Maemiya, Harumiya, and Akimiya—each with its own unique atmosphere and sacred significance. Visitors can explore ancient cedar groves, beautifully preserved shrine buildings, and learn about the legendary Onbashira Festival, where massive logs are transported and raised in a daring display of faith and tradition.
