The Route
Although it starts in North Osaka, it’s a nice way to travel between Osaka and Kyoto (Arashiyama) and offers an alternative from the Yodogawa River path (with all its gates)
The route is generally low traffic and fairly narrow making for interesting and safe cycling!
Once in Arashiyama, one can continue along the Keinawa Cycling Road towards Nara.
