Kasumigaura Lake Loop

The Kasumigaura Route is about 122km and almost entirely completely flat. It is grade separated has runs right next to the lake

Getting there and away
Tsuchiura Station
If planning to do the whole lake in one day, Tsuchiura is the easiest access to Kasumigaura. The station is just off the Northwestern Edge of the lake and provides good access to Tokyo on both regular (rapid) trains as well as a limited expresses. It takes about an hour from Ueno.
Itako Station
If planning to do in halves, Itako station offers a good station to start at with an end at Tsuchiura station. Itako station has a cycle path that connects directly to the Kasumigaura cycle path.
